This research work aimsto look at the relationship that exists among Artificial Intelligence (AI), Law, and Human Rights. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a machine developed that simulates human intelligence. The problematic issue here is that AI lacks transparency and accountability in decision- making, insufficient protection of human rights, and limited democratic participation in AI governance. Therefore, to this effect, the democratic participatory framework is essential for ensuring that AI systems are developed and deployed in a way that leads to the promotion of justice, equality, transparency, and respect and protection of fundamental human rights. This work argues that, if there is increased use of AI in various sectors of society without a participatory democratic system, it will result in significant problem on justice, equality, and transparency, and also it will threaten the observance of human rights. So, to this effect, the participatory democratic system is needed to tackle this problem. The analytic method of research is employed to analyze this topic. The possible solution to the problems of this topic mentioned above is inclusive decision-making processes and citizen engagement. And if this solution is put into practice, it will help solidify the use of AI to strengthen law, human rights, and the participatory democratic system.
