Artificial intelligence has brought about significant changes in various creative domains, sparking discussions about the nature of art and its authenticity in the era of AI. Some scholars assert that the computer monitor now serves as a canvas, a brush, a musical instrument, and even an art tutor, leading us to explore deeper connections between AI and creativity. The fast-evolving artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed many domains, but its effects on aesthetics and creativity are a matter of heated controversy. In this article, the relationship between AI and creative work is considered, analyzing the effects that the spread of AI-generated works has on conventional assumptions regarding aesthetics, originality, and creative value. Although AI software has made creative work accessible to all and facilitates unprecedented ways of creative expression, it also provokes fundamental questions regarding the lack of human touch, emotional intensity, and cultural richness of creative work. In the debate regarding the effects that the growth in AI has on the creative process, the spectator, and the commercialization of creativity, this article contends that the growth in AI can indirectly lead to the depreciation of the intrinsic value of art and the devaluation of aesthetic experience. Ultimately, this article demands a reflective debate regarding the retention of the human touch in art in a progressively automated environment, advocating for a compromise between technological advancement and the continued relevance of human creativity.
