Tolle Lege: An Augustinian Journal of Philosophy and Theology

St. Augustine's perspective of Leadership in a pluralistic society anchored on servant leadership speaks to the bane of leadership deficit in contemporary society. This study makes explicit his contributions to the question of the efficacy of leadership in the unique context of pluralistic societies and discusses the extent to which his insights can be useful for scholars and statesmen in contemporary times. The study concludes while recommending the cultivation of attitudes and skills that build a good leader drawing from St Augustine's prescription of the Servant leadership model so as to activate healthy growth and development in our communities and society.
