This paper is a cosmocentric approach to afrocentricism and eurocentricism as they help in examining the identity crisis and dichotomies seen in the emerging global world. However, the crisis of who we are remains a critical issue for the welfare of humanity. In addition to this problem is the crisis of acceptance and peaceful coexistence of all human beings within the umbrella of humanity. Welfarism, therefore, is very crucial and central to this identity. This is why the concepts of afrocentricism and eurocentricism are constructive ideas in trying to establish our humanity with every sense of prideful responsibility while questioning the identity crisis and dichotomy threatening our emerging new world order. The researchers, very critical in their approach, dwells on the place of afrocentricism (as focus on African Weltanschauung) and the place of eurocentricism (as centering on European world-views) for the needed differential equipoise for different world trado-cultural studies for an emerging global world. The researchers, however, find out that a balance application of and a sincere appreciation of afrocentricism and eurocentricism will definitely guarantee bridging the yawning-gap of the contemporary great splits: global and digital divides with the conceptual idea of cosmocentricis
