ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MULTIMEDIA CONTENT CREATION WITH IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

Martins Moses AGENA, Ph.D
Abstract

This paper explores the transformation impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on multimedia content creation within the context of globalization. As AI tools become increasingly integrated into creative workflows, from video editing and image generation to voice synthesis and automated script-writing, they are reshaping the dynamics of production, distribution, and cultural exchange across global platforms. Drawing on the theory of Technological Determinism, the study examines how AI not only enhances efficiency and access but also influences aesthetic choices, authorship, and the cultural representation of content. While AI democratizes creative opportunities, particularly for emerging creators, it also presents challenges such as digital inequality, algorithmic bias, and the potential homogenization of cultural narratives. The paper highlights the need for inclusive AI development, ethical regulatory frameworks, and investments in digital infrastructure to ensure equitable participation in the global creative economy. Ultimately, it argues that the future of multimedia creation lies in a hybrid model where human imagination and machine intelligence collaborate to foster diverse, accessible, and culturally sensitive global media landscapes.
