This paper entitled Children's Theatre and the Domains of Learning among School Children: AStudy of Select Primary Schools in Makurdi Metropolis, aimed at examining the role of children's theatre in child development in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains of learning. The paper adopted the qualitative research approach for data collection and analysis in non-numerical formats, utilizing instruments such as oral interviews, library sources and select forms of children's theatre. Primary data were sourced from four primary schools: Dyege Memorial Nursery and Primary School, Peniel Nursery and Primary School Makurdi, Lady Victoria Academy and Villa Academy Nursery and Primary School, all in Makurdi metropolis, while secondary data emanated from other existing literature relevant to the study. The research was anchored on the constructivist learning theory and consequent upon analysis, it found out among other things that, under children's engagement in theatre activities, they are simultaneously impacted in the three domains. It therefore, concludes that children's theatre's impact on child development cannot be perfectly measured in a singular activity because it is limitless. The study recommends majorly that, given the potency of children's theatre in child development, school management should allot more time to it either as co-curricular activities, as teaching subjects or as complementary activities to other subjects in the formal school curriculum.
