This paper explores the effects of insecurity on Hausa language education in Nigeria, drawing on secondary data from print and online sources. Through content analysis, the study reveals that insecurity has significantly hindered the development of Hausa language education. Key issues identified include reduced education funding, declining private investment, disrupted academic calendars, loss of educators, student fatalities, and decreased enrollment and retention rates. To address these challenges, the paper recommends leveraging artificial intelligence for security in schools, tackling root causes of insecurity such as unemployment, enhancing border security, and enforcing stricter legal measures against banditry and terrorism.
