Drawing insight from Horney theory of personality, this study attempts to decipher if the jingles and other targeted messages disseminated to the peopleof Nigeria in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic impacted gender based outcomes. This is aimed at evaluating the success of the media splash undertaken by government and non-governmental agencies towards keeping the citizens of Nigerians safe.
