A Priest is a spiritual leader. Same applies to Seminarians especially during pastoral year or apostolic work. People look up to Priests and Seminarians for direction, for prayers and counselling. Apart from the normal Seminary structure where everyone is assigned to a particular Spiritual director who guides the seminarian spiritually for a full session or throughout the course of his seminary formation, there is need for regular Spiritual direction for Priests and Seminarians especially after Priestly Ordination and during holidays. This spiritual direction is very necessary especially in our contemporary world filled with a lot of challenges.
