Beyond its theological finesses and fame, this article explores the literary and rhetorical richness of the Bible. It underscores and explores various literary devices and stylistic techniques used in the Bible, focusing particularly on the use of hypophora. Presenting the latter as a figure of speech where the speaker asks and answers his own questions, this article suggests and outlines matters in which hypophora may become a pedagogical tool in the hands of the Gen Z population for obtaining societal transformation, in the sense that an hypophoric approach to social illness offers the shift from a mere criticism and protest culture to the development of solution-oriented actions for societal change and nation-building. At the end of the analysis, this article proposes that a hypophoric pedagogy guides the Gen Z’s critique culture to proffer constructive and lasting remedies to social ills.
