Liturgy and Catechesis impact on the life of the Church, especially the faith formation of the people of God. This is because in celebration, the Church displays her teaching office and in teaching, the Church demonstrates what her worship is. Liturgical catechesis, in its methodology, employs liturgical and catechetical tools. Liturgical catechesis uses the constituting elements of the liturgy, the content of the liturgical rite that is celebrated and the application of the liturgical catechetical principles of mystagogy, for the post-celebration mystagogy, for the overall formation of the faithful.
