In our daily encounter, we often take for granted some essential things of life and this may include the social relevance of some disciplines. The question of the relevance of theologians in our world today is not as easy as it appears owing to the realities that befalls the modern man and his ideologies. This article, is an attempt to examine the social relevance of theologians in contemporary times, with arguments that theologians would become more relevant when they become willing to listen and learn from other disciplines, applying the principle of faith seeking understanding.
