The prevalent challenges of the postmodernist that sorts to debunk and deemphasize the assumptions of the modernist which is usually defined in relation to the enlightenment with the rise in scientism, and the enlightenment which flags individualism, relativism and global indifference is articulated in this chapter. This article seeks to find a feminism grounded in a postmodernist ideology, juxtaposing between the postmodernist thoughts and the contemporary feminist thought, which despite having disparities between them still have a point of convergence having striking similarities as the only contemporary theories that presents a truly radical critique of the enlightenment legacy of modernism. Thus leading to a conclusion that feminism is necessarily postmodern.
