Within the context of the thoughts of Obafemi Awolowo; this essay outlines the roles of the Church and the state in the establishment and administration of schools. The theme that permeates the writing of this man is the subject of man’s integral development. This paper, just by the method of exposition and personal comments makes available the thoughts of Awolowo regarding human development. It concludes by noting that Awolowo has not said everything about development just as no one has heard the last about man and his problems.
