This work is set forward as a ready antidote for eradicating false religiousites among African Christians. False religiousites refer to all forms of religious dispositions that lack the intrinsic value of religion; in other words, every religious disposition that sees God basically as a means and not as an end. This essay shows that prevalent among African Christians is this kind of disposition toward God. It concludes by providing a certain educational framework, stemming from the African traditional methodology of education for building Christian maturity among Africans.
