The problem with religious language is one of the reasons for the rejection of religion by some people in contemporary times. This paper therefore argues that because of man's limitation and the limits of language applicability, man cannot but speak about God through the use of myths, symbols, analogies and even paradoxes which more often time than not are misunderstood. It therefore concludes by saying that understanding the intention and context within which religious language is used offer us a better appreciation of religion and religious language.
