This paper deals with issue of injustice in Nigeria by focusing on the Church's role in promoting justice in Nigeria. It establishes love as the basis of true justice as such it cannot be established in absence of love. Any attempts, therefore to prosecute the cause of justice without love could easily degenerate into vengeful sadism and the reversal enthronement of injustice between the oppressed and the oppressor. Hence, it concludes with the suggestion that the government should allow the church to be more involved in establishing and developing programs of education in educating not only the privileged few but more importantly the poor Masses.
