MODELS OF SERMONS BY SHEIKH USMAN AL-BASHIR ADAM A RHETORICAL STUDIES
This article aims to analyze and evaluate the rhetorical patterns used in the sermons of Sheikh Osman al - Bashir, a prominent imam in the Gamboru-Ngala area, Borno State, Nigeria. The study _focuses on presenting selected models of Sheikh Osman al-Bashir's sermons and deconstructing their rhetorical structure by examining the rhetorical techniques he employed It also seeks to explore the impact of these rhetorical methods on convincing the community and their effects on the social, psychological, and religious aspects of the listeners. The methodology relies on a descriptive-analytical approach, using Arabic rhetorical theories, and concludes that Sheikh Osman al-Bashir's sermons are characterized by powerful rhetoric and skillful use of rhetorical tools, making them effective in influencing and convincing the audience of the message he conveys ;
